Ghana Premier League giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has safely arrived in Abuja, Nigeria ahead of their CAF Champions League clash with Kano Pillars this weekend.
The Kumasi based side is the sole representative of Ghana in the 2019/2020 edition of the CAF Champions League after emerging as winners of the tier 1 of the GFA Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.
Having wrapped up preparations in Accra on Wednesday, the team comprising of 18 players and technical team as well as some management members left the shores of the country in the early hours of Thursday and have successfully landed in Nigeria.
The first leg of the match between the two top clubs on the continent will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
