Three Hearts players sanctioned for Indiscipline

Accra, Feb. 4, GNA - The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has sanctioned three of its players for their failure to report to camp without any justifiable excuse.

The three players, Francis Bossman, Dan Quaye and Bernard Don Bortey are therefore to forfeit their January salaries, start their conditioning exercise on daily basis with coach Dauda Lutterodt or would be expelled from the team if they fail to comply with the directives without any tangible reason.

Mr Thomas Okine, Chief Executive Officer of the Club in a release copied to the GNA Sports said the players have been sanctioned for failing to report to camp without any justifiable excuse or communication to the Head Coach who not only reported their conduct but also recommended the sanctions.

He said the management wholeheartedly accepts and endorses the recommendations which takes immediate effect.

He said by copies of the letter, the Accounts Officer of the Club has been directed to effect the decision of the forfeiture of salary whilst coach Lutterodt responds to the conditioning exercise and submit a report to the Head Coast, Oti Akenten.

The release asked the affected players to report to Coach Dauda Lutterodt at the Hearts Park on 7:ooam on Monday, February 6 without fail.
