Eden Hazard has selected the number 23 to wear at Real Madrid, as he hopes to emulate the success of NBA greats Michael Jordan and LeBron James, according to Marca.
Hazard isn't going to be wearing the number 10 shirt, because that's currently occupied by Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric, so he's had to choose another.
The number 23 shirt at Real Madrid is mostly attributed to David Beckham, but now the Belgian is hoping to put his own mark on it.
Legendary basketball player Michael Jordan made the number 23 famous when he played for the Chicago Bulls.
More recently, LeBron James wore it at the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
So, basketball fan Hazard has plenty of sporting pedigree to live up to at his new club.
Hazard completed a £150million move from Chelsea to Real Madrid, and the Spanish club has also spent big on the likes of Ferland Mendy and Luka Jovic so far this summer.
He reported for his first day of training last week, as Zinedine Zidane started to get his new-look side into shape for the season ahead.
