Obuasi Ashanti Gold has appointed 2015 Ghana Premier League winning Coach Enos Adepa has their new manager ahead of the anticipated 2019/2020 league season.
The news which has come as both a surprise and shock to the football community will see the former Wa All Stars gaffer replacing Norwegian trainer Kjetil Zachariassen.
Kjetil Zachariassen recently led the Obuasi based side to lift the trophy of the tier 1 of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.
Despite the achievement, it appears the club will have nothing to do with him anymore and have opted to give his job to Ghanaian coach Enos Adepa who has loads of experience on the local scene.
The former Eleven Wonder Coach appointment means that Ashgold has had 3 managers in the last 12 months.
Meanwhile, Coach Kjetil Zachariassen has been heavily linked with a move to Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko who are on the verge of partying ways with Coach CK Akonnor.
It is unclear if it is because of that move that he has been replaced by the Miners or not but the story is expected to unfold in the next couple of days.
