Cape Coast, Jan. 24, GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies soccer club whipped Cape Coast Ghatel ladies 4-1 in the Central/Western Region Women's League match played at the Robert Mensah sports stadium on Saturday.
Hasaacas midfielder, Agnes Kuofie scored a hat-trick and added another goal in the first half to be a toast of her team to ensure their counterparts were left struggling.
Ms Kuofie played a yeoman's game to score the opener in the fifth minute with an exciting display of good antics and prowess that baffled her opponents.
Inspired by the early lead, the Hasaacas Ladies continued to pile pressure on their opponents and banged in three more goals to raise the score to 4-0 by the end of the 40th minute.
Ghatel Ladies in a face saving effort hit back and scored a consolation goal through Janet Owusu before the end of the half. On resumption of the second half, both teams improved on their performance playing a determined game but there were no further goals till the full time with the scores 4-1 in favour of Hasaacas Ladies. 24 Jan. 06
