Communications Director for Karela United, Eric Alagidede has stressed that no Ghanaian team will be able to beat them at their home venue in Anyinase whiles insisting that they will maintain their home invincibility record.
The Ghana Premier League side has not tasted defeat at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park since 2016. Their superiority at home is unmatched on the local scene having managed to discipline every club that has visited the venue including Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Currently playing in the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition, Karela has maintained a 100% record and look on course to finishing the preliminary phase of the competition with the best record in the across all divisions.
Speaking in an interview on Ashh FM, Eric Alagidede shared that they will try and beat every team they play at home in a bid to keep their home unbeaten record intact.
“Karela United play very good football and will try to score every team that comes to Anyinase”. We are unbeaten since 2016 and we will continue to maintain that record because no team in Ghana can beat Karela United at Anyinase”, he said.
The Anyinase based side has a daunting task ahead of them as they come up against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
