Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Kim Tyrone Grant is overly impressed with the winning mentality of his team after they came from a goal down to beat Dwarfs 2-1 in the 2019 NC Special Competition at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Albert Hammond raced the Crabs into a 5th-minute lead through a fantastic header but Christopher Bonney artfully converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute before Abdul Manaf Umar Gumar Jnr sealed the win 4 minutes into the second half.
Hearts have restored their winning in the competition following their home draw with Liberty Professionals.
Grant has lauded the mentality of his side following the win.
“Brilliant win today, a hard-fought win. Top of the table with 3 matches to go. Proud of this young team and their winning mentality & fighting spirit,” the former Charlton Athletic striker posted on his Official Facebook page after the match which recorded violent scenes at the final whistle.
Hearts face Karela United in a crunch encounter on Matchday 11 of the competition.
