Veteran Football administrator, Takyi Arhin has indicated that he is not surprised by the decision from Lucy Quist to resign from her post as the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC).

Just over a month after FIFA extended the timeline for the committee, Madam Lucy Quist through a post on Facebook on Friday, May 10, 2019, shared that she is leaving the committee due to some personal reasons.

Speaking on the back of the resignation, Takyi Arhin shared in an interview with Fox FM that things are not calm in the quarters of the members of the NC and that is why the former Airtel Chief Executive Officer has decided to call it quits.

"When she went to an interview on Joy FM she admitted that the Zylofon Cash contract was available, she was attacked by Dr. Kofi Amoah as to why she went to say that while they'd agreed to keep it, for the work too, for now, the kitchen has become too hot for them, so for her resignation for me I'm not surprised”, Takyi Arhin explained.

The remaining members on the committee include President Dr. Kofi Amoah together with Naa Odofoley Nortey, as well as former Black Stars defender Sammy Kuffour. They are expected to complete their mandate by the end of September this year.
