Head Coach for the Black Stars of Ghana, James Kwesi Appiah is set to present his 26-Man squad to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Friday, May 10, 2019, ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON).
Ghana will make another claim for the prestigious AFCON title next month in Egypt in a bid to break the 37-year-old jinx that has seen her fail to conquer the rest of Africa.
According to checks by footballghana.com, the squad will be made up of 4 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 8 midfielders and 5 strikers. Coach Appiah and his technical team are expected to present the squad to the NC before it will be made public.

Ghana has been pitted into Group F alongside Benin, Guinea Bissau as well as defending champions Cameroon. The Stars will play Benin in their opening match of the tournament on June 25, 2019.
