NC Special Competition Match Week 10 Preview

Following a decision by the Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) to rescind the suspension of officiation of matches, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition will enter week 10 today, May 8, 2019.

The midweek fixtures will see a total of 7 matches being played across the Premier A and Premier B.

To break it down, 3 matches will be played in Premier A whereas 4 matches will be played in B.

Having their match week 9 fixture against Wa All Stars postponed, Kumasi Asante Kotoko returns into action later today when they host Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In the same division, table-topping Medeama SC welcome Obuasi Ashanti Gold at the T&A park in what promises to be one of the exciting games on the match day.

To round up the matches in the Premier B division, Berekum Chelsea will be hoping for a win against rejuvenated Techiman Eleven Wonders in a bid to better their position on the standings.

Elsewhere in the Premier B division, Accra Hearts of Oak will be hoping to make it 4 wins in a row when they take to the field to play inconsistent Liberty Professionals in the Regional Derby.

With a just a point behind leaders, Accra Hearts of Oak, Karela United will be playing as guests to Inter Allies this afternoon knowing for a fact that they could go top of the standings if results from the match between the Phobians and Liberty go in their favour.

Elmina Sharks returned from Anyinase after losing 1-0 to Karela United over the week weekend. Papa Kwasi Nduom’s side is expected to play struggling Ebusua Dwarfs at home. The away side will however not come easy especially after beating Inter Allies in the previous match day.

Winless in their last 3 matches in the competition, Dreams FC will face a tough test in Sogakope when they play West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).
