Sammy Heywood Okine Honoured For Dynamic And Excellent Leadership By United Nations (UN)

Ace Ghanaian Sports Journalist, Sammy Heywood Okine has been awarded by the United Nations with the Honour of Distinction – Gold Star of the order, UN Humanitarian Achievement for his services to humanity.

He is a sports manager/journalist of high repute, Communications Director of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) as well as media consultant for the Millennium Marathon and the Ghana Kickboxing Association. He also serves as Vice President of the Pro Fight Factory (PFF) made up of talented sportsmen and women around the world.
