Renowned Ghanaian boxing judge, Atta Eddie Pappoe has disclosed that he is confident Isaac Dogbe will defeat Emmanuel Navarrete this weekend to regain his WBO World Super Bantamweight title.
The young Ghanaian boxer after having an impressive run in the ring in the first half of the year floored Jese Magdaleno to become the WBO World Super Bantamweight title champion of the world.
He, however, lost the title to Mexican Emmanuel Navarrete last December after 12 rounds of boxing where he was mercilessly outpunched.
Ahead of a rematch slated to happen in the United States of America this weekend, boxing enthusiast Atta Eddie Pappoe despite admitting that boxing is full of uncertainties says he is confident the Ghanaian can redeem his image when he steps into the ring with his Mexican opponent.
“Am very confident but not really too sure about my confidence because boxing is game of uncertainties. But believing in Isaac Dogbe, when he wants to get to the party and deliver I can rest assure that I can bet my last dollar on Isaac Dogbe and I know that if Isaac is ready for the deal, he will go out there and deliver. So I am very very optimistic that Isaac will go and give us something to write home about”, he said in an interview with Class FM.
The high profile bout will take place on May 11, 2019, in California.
