Mohammed Polo Charges Hearts of Oak To Maintain Impressive Form

League Report Mohammed Polo Charges Hearts of Oak To Maintain Impressive Form
MAY 7, 2019 LISTEN

Former Hearts of Oak gaffer, Mohammed Polo says he was not stunned by the performance of his former side in their 4-0 win over WAFA on Sunday in the ongoing GFA Special Competition insisting he wants the team to maintain their astonishing display throughout the remaining games.

The Phobians recorded the biggest over the weekend over the Sogakope based Academy side and as well entertained the fans with their delightful performance.

Goals from Auroras graduates, Michelle Sarpong and Manaf Umar was enough for the former Ghana Premier League winners.

Captain Abdul Mohammed Fatawu and Kofi Kordzi scored one each to give the seal an emphatic 4-0 victory for Hearts of Oak.

However, the club legend doesn’t want Kim Grant’s side to play shambolically going forward having commended massively for their good show against WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"The performance against WAFA is surprising but maintaining it is the problem. If you perform well today and decline tomorrow then it’s by chance. It will be best if they maintain that form," he told Kumasi FM.

"The supporters must cease the praises because there’s a lot to do in keeping this current form.

"Kim Grant must concentrate on what he’s doing once the management are satisfied with it.

"With the performance of the team, the future is bright for Kim Grant," he added.
