Mr Tandoh said Mr Doe has a wealth of experience in football administration and has been in the helm of affairs for the past 20 years.

The Chairman however, used the occasion to express concern that the three-man inspection team of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) failed to visit Cape Coast to inspect the proposed site there that has already been cleared for the construction of a stadium for the CAN 2008 tournament.

Mr Tandoh said Cape Coast being the cradle of Ghana soccer and considering the large students' population in the Municipality in the first, second and tertiary institutions constitute a big human resource for sports development and the construction of a modern stadium would not be out of place.
