Black Stars player Baba Amando Adamu Adams has called on the nation to root strongly behind the Senior National Team,the Black Stars as the team goes to the African Cup of Nations in Egyept in Janauary and the World Cup in Germany next Summer.

He said what is paramonut now is the nation and not individuals and their personal interests,"As we go to the world cup it is important for the nation to see to see our participation as a national asignment and must be addressed as such with all deligence and seriousness",he said.

In an exclusive interview with AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS on Kapital Radio in Kumasi yesternight, Amando Adams said the appearance at the World Cup cannot be for just the sake of it,"Countries such as Cameroun,Nigeria and Senegal have all made appreciable impacts at the World Cup even though they went into the respective World Cups as big time under dogs and it beholves Ghana to emulate those shining examples or b! etter them" he sounded.

Asked wheather he believes Ghana has what it takes to make the needed impact at the World Cup Amando said"My brother most of us have made it big even though we did not think we could,everything on this earth is highly possibl,we only need to prepared harder than we did during the qualifying series and i bet you we will achieve the unthinkable".

He called for massive support for the Headcoach, Ratomir Dujkovic and his able Technical Team on their selection of players into the national team adding that,"I believe that much as Ghanaians want the best for the nation,so do the Coach because he has an image to protect and a record to set for himself and the nation at the world stage and will therefore take no chances but do his best to achieve maximum results for himself and for the nation".

Baba Amoando Adams Adamu who plays for Krysler Sotova in Russia and scored seven goals in the European Champions League a! lso asked the Ministry of Education and Sports as well as the GFA to put in place pragmatic training shedules towards the CAN2006 in Egypt.

"I am a Ghanaian and holds no bitterness against nobody and so when i am called up to play for the Black Stars i am very much ready to contribute my quota and widow's mite anytime to the nation"He concluded.
