Kotoko coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has reiterated that he focused on reaching the knockout stage of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

Kotoko will be hosted by Nkana FC in the third game in Group C on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors have picked three points out of a possible six as they lie third in their group.

Ahead of the clash on Sunday, Akunnor hopes to win or at least draw to boost their chances of making it out of the group.

"That is our target, the main thing for us is that we want to qualify so we are working towards that," he said

"We are done with Zesco, now we looking forward to the Nkana game and it is important we go there for a win or at least a draw.

"It is achievable and with a bit of determination I think it is achievable."

Kotoko are expected to leave Accra for Zambia on Wednesday for the game against Nkana FC on Sunday, 24th February 2018.
