FEB 12, 2019 LISTEN

Director of Berekum Chelsea, Nana Oduro Sarfo has slammed the Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association claiming former Ghana FA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was more transparent in his dealings with clubs than the current Normalisation Committee.

The proposed special competition by the Committee has been cancelled due to the delay of the Premier League clubs.

But according to outspoken football administrator, the lack of transparency on the part of the Committee on the Special Competition informed the 14 Premier League clubs to boycott the proposed Special Competition.

"When People start getting positions at the FA they forget they were once like us which is unfortunate," he told Asempa FM.

"We need to be respected because we have toiled to get to where we are now.

On his reason why Kwesi Nyantakyi was more transparent, Mr Sarfo used the Zylofon Cash sponsorship contract as a point of reference which was made available to all the 16 premier league clubs.

"The NC doesn't respect us and when it comes to transparency, Kwesi Nyantakyi was far better than the Normalization Committee.

"Mr Nyantakyi was able to tell us how we will disburse money whenever a contract is signed but we are seeing this with the Normalization Committee.

"The NC doesn't respect us, this communique shows the kind of person we have as NC president. There is no way Dan Kweku Yeboah can issue this letter without the approval of the president.

"Even the president of the country won't issue such communique.

"This is the time for the clubs to stand firm and get our football going.

He added that the letter released from the Committee after the cancellation of the tournament showed some lack of respect on their part to clubs in the country.
