Businessman Enters GFA Presidential Race

The race for the presidency of the Ghana football association is heating up. The three front-runners for the job have all picked up their forms after nominations opened last two days.

The acting FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former adidas representative Kojo Bonsu and Executive Council Chairman YA Ibrahim have all made their intentions known to the Ghanaian public.

The new addition to the race is Mr. Vincent Sowah-Odotei, the chief executive of Valex-lease Equip Company limited. Very little is known about Mr. Odotei in footballing circles but he told CITI FM that he has been in the background quietly monitoring activities in the FA and football in general in Ghana. Mr. Odotei believes that he can change the status-quo in the administration of football in Ghana.

'I might be unknown in the football circles in Ghana but I believe I have what it takes to become GFA President.

I bring into the fore managerial and private sector experience which will make the GFA more professional just li! ke Danny Jordan of South Africa has been able to do for football in the South African country', he maintained. Mr. Odotei is affiliated to Division one side Mariners for close to four years now.
