Tema, Dec. 4, GNA - Mathias Dorfe beat Harold Agbenu on count-back after they had both tied at 43 points to win this year's Hennessy Invitational Golf Championship played at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday.
Martin Poku also beat Frank Etwi-Barimah on count-back after 42-point scores to take the third position while Thomas Okwodju placed fifth with 41 points.
Esther Bhavnani won the Ladies event with 41 points followed Esther Antwi at the second position with 40 points with Florence Etwi-Barimah placing third with 36 points after she beat Mary Asafu-Adjaye on count-back while Esi Cobbina took the fifth position with 37 points. The One-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which attracted over 80 participants was sponsored by Hennessy Cognac Limited. Mr Eddy Duplan, a representative of Hennessy Gognac gave the assurance that his company would continue to support the game in the ensuing years.
