Ashgold In Talks To Appoint Paa Kwasi Fabin As Technical Director

Chief Executive officer for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has confirmed ongoing talks between his outlet and former Kotoko gaffer Paa Kwasi Fabin to appoint him as their new Technical Director.

The former u17 coach has been without a coaching job since partying ways with the Porcupine Warriors last year. He was expected to move to South Africa where he had receive offers but sadly that move did not go through.

It now appears the Miners require his services and he might be on the brink of joining the Ashanti Regional club very soon. Dr. Kwaku Frimpong in an interview with Fox fm earlier today revealed that they have had advanced talks with the former Kotoko coach and once an agreement is reached, he will become the club’s Technical Director.

“We are in talks with Paa Kwesi Fabin, if appointed, he will be the technical director to the junior team and an advisor to the senior team”, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong said.

Ashgold remains as one of the top clubs in the country and their marketing and advertising policy seems to be working wonders for them. Their stock keeps growing with their fan base spreading like wildfire.

Many believe if they are able to get Paa Kwasi Fabin on board it will help the club get even stronger with the kind of expertise he has under his belt.

The Obuasi based club are currently under the tutorage of head coach Svetislav Tanasijevic as they prepare for the upcoming special competition being organized by the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee.
