CK Has Brought Something Unique To Kotoko – Coach Ebenezer Sefa

Renowned football scout and coach, Ebenezer Sefa has stated that Kotoko’s head Coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor has improved the club since he took over some 5 months ago.

According to Coach Sefa, the Kotoko manager has ensured togetherness in camp and that has ultimately propelled the team to progress to where they are now.

“It tells you that CK has brought something unique into the team. He has brought some kind of togetherness and unity into the team. And you have a team that has got unity the team always progresses”, the chief scout said in an interview with Class fm.

His kind words comes on the back of the Porcupine Warriors qualification to the group stag of this year CAF Confederations cup competition. The team yesterday beat Cameroonian side Coton Sports De Garoua at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to cement a 5-3 aggregate win which obviously sent them through to the money zone of the competition.

He further commended CK Akonnor for how well he has organized the squad available to him to play the way they are playing.

“CK has brought sanity into Kotoko’s game. Sanity in the sense that you will realize that he has got a pool of players who are talented. A pool of players who have got the quality”, he shared.

Meanwhile the Kumasi based club have been drawn in Group C of the CAF Confederations Cup together with Al Hilal of Sudan as well as Zambian gianst Zesco United and Nkana fc. Their first match will be against Al Hilal on February 3 in Sudan.
