Hearts To Play More Friendlies Before Start Of NC Special Competition – Kim Grant

Coach Kim Grant Issuing Instructions To Players From The Touchline

Head Coach for Accra Hearts of Oak Kim Grant has disclosed that the Accra based side will be engaged in some more friendly matches before the start of the Special Competition being organized by the Normalization Committee (NC).

The Phobians have been playing a number of friendlies over the past months in a bid for their gaffer to test the strength of his squad. They have played 9 matches in all and have scored well over 20 goals.

Over the weekend, the Accra based side won two matches in the space of 24 hours. First they defeated the Ghana u20 team on Saturday before following it with another win over Division 1 side Skyy fc.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the Skyy fc match, Kim Grant indicated that they will be busy again this week and it is likely they will be playing a friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium. Before that however, the team has been given today to rest before they resume training tomorrow.

“The team is going to take a day off because it was a long travel for them. And then we start again on Tuesday. Definitely we are going to work hard again this week. Back to work and top up the conditioning work and then start working tactically and then conditioning altogether”.

“So hopefully next week are going to get another friendly in the Accra Sports Stadium and then maybe try to get one or two friendly matches before the Normalization cup”, Coach Kim Grant said.

Modernghana checks has revealed that it is likely the Rainbow boys will play Samartex fc in a friendly encounter this week.
