Rally Behind The Club And Let Archive Our Objectives - Dr Kyei Call On Kotoko Supporters

Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei has called on the supporters of the club to rally behind the club as they prepare for the group stage in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors have been drawn in Group C and will face Al Hilal and Zambian duo Zesco United and Nkana FC.

The Ghana Premier League side qualified for the group phase of the competition after 13 years with a 5:3 aggregate over Cameroonian champions, Coton Sports.

However, the business mogul has called on the fans to continue to support the club after sealing qualification to the group stage of the competition.

"Yesterday I was shocked at the crowd I saw at the stadium, this means we have something great in our hands, so those who at times stir negativities among the club should rally behind the team in unity so that going forward we can achieve more," he told Kumasi based FOX FM.

He also revealed that the players have been given $500 as a winning bonus.

"I paid a qualification bonus of $500 to the players, it's true but for the group stage when we get there you shall hear of it," he added.
