CAF CC: Amos Frimpong Expect Massive Crowd At Baba Yara Sports Stadium On Sunday

Amos Frimpong has called on the supporters of Asante Kotoko to show up in their numbers on Sunday in their second league playoff in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

The Ghana Premier League giants will host Coton Sports of Cameroon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after recording a 3:2 win on Sunday.

According to the skipper of the club, the supporters will have a huge role to play in the game on Sunday, urging them to turn up in their numbers to cheer the team on to victory.

“They have a very good team that can cause havoc in the return leg so we have to be focused and get the job done to perfection,” Amos noted.

“I remember watching a match at the Kumasi Sports Stadium where firefighters had to come in and spray water onto the crowd because it was packed.

“I’m expecting such a crowd on Sunday so that the firefighters will spray water onto the fans once again,” he added.

Kotoko will need to only avoid defeat to secure a ticket to the group stage of the competition.
