Former Asante Kotoko gaffer, Isaac Opele Boateng has called on the chairman of the Normalization Committee, Dr Kofi Amoah not to allow the clubs to dictate how they should run football in the country.

The 16 Premier League clubs boycott the special competition that should have been launched yesterday at the premises of the Ghana Football Association citing in a press release that they are not interested in the modalities of the competition.

However, the Ghana FA Normalization Committee has postponed the launch of the special competition.

"I am very surprised how these club CEO's and administrators are behaving," he told Asempa FM.

"If they are refusing to play the competition, the Normalization Committee should write and inform FIFA and CAF that the clubs refused to play the competition.

"These are the same people they refused to do the right thing under Kwesi Nyantakyi. The sat down to refused to ask for a copy of the Glo contract.

"For me, Dr Kofi Amoah must be a dictator and stand against the clubs. He [Dr. Kofi Amoah] must listen to the clubs but he shouldn't allow the club administrators and CEO's to dictate for them.

"The competition is a good one but I am very surprised the clubs are refusing to play," he added.

The Normalization Committee was instituted after the premiering of the 'Number 12' video Anas Aremeyaw Anas which uncovered the rot in Ghana Football.

Top Ghana FA officials and match officials were filmed engaging in bribery and corruption in their line of duties.

The four-member committee has been given the mandate to cleanse Ghana football and review the statutes of the Ghana FA and are expected to leave office on March 31.
