I Have My Own Way Of Coaching – Kim Grant Insists

The head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kim Grant has insisted that he has his own coaching methods unlike coaching methods adopted by other top coaches like Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola.

The gaffer who doubles as the Director of football for the Phobians has been in charge of the club since last year December.

Since taking over the club, he has led the side on an unbeaten run as they look to build a formidable side like they used to have.

Kim Grant’s rejuvenated Hearts of Oak recorded a one zero win over Future Soccer Academy yesterday in a friendly match at the Pobiman Park.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the manager emphasized that he has his own style of coaching and it is not possible for him to try and be like Pep Guardiola by adopting his methods.

“I have my own way of doing things because if I want to be like Pep Guardiola it will never work. You can have his ideas but how to implement it is totally different”, Kim Grant said.

He further stated, “So I have my own way of coaching and I implement those kinds of things. What I have experienced over the 20/30 years in football. So for me, it’s about me”.

The Accra based club resumes training today as remains poised to get back to the position of the best club in the country.
