Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC have confirmed the transfer of midfielder Razak Cromwell to Birmingham Legion FC.

The 24-year-old was recruited by scouts from the American second tier club during the 2018 Ghana Has Talent Invitational Tournament held at the Tema Sports Stadium in September.

A statement on the club's official website said: “Dreams Football Club wishes to announce the transfer of defender Razak Cromwell to USL championship club Birmingham Legion FC. The loan move will last for a season, with an option to buy.”

The President and General Manager of Birmingham Legion, Jay Heaps expressed satisfaction with the signing of Cromwell hoping the player will be useful for his side’s campaign.

“We are excited to add Razak to our roster. He’s a smart, dynamic player with an excellent left foot who can play a few different positions down the left side for us this season,” Mr Heaps told Dreamsfc.com.gh.

Cromwell was one of the exciting players for Dreams FC during the first round of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season and will be remembered for his stupendous strike against Accra Hearts of Oak in the final of the GHALCA-organised G8 Tournament, which Dreams FC won earlier this year in Cape Coast.

He joined Dreams FC at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season from Proud United, a Division One side based at Swedru in the Central Region. He scored seven goals while at Proud United during the 2016/2017 season.

He is a graduate of the prestigious computer and technology institute, IPMC where he studied Graphic Designing.
