CAF CC: 'We Can Win Confederations Cup' - Kotoko Midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei

Asante Kotoko midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei has insisted they are in a good position to clinch the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors is the only club representing the country at the continent due to the truncation of the Ghana Premier League in June.

Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks will host the Ghana Premier League side in the first league of the competition at the at MISC Kasarani on Saturday, December 15 at exactly 12:00 GMT

However, the former TP Mazembe star says they are in good position to make history in Africa.

"I'm optimistic we will get closer to the (CAF Confederations Cup) trophy, we are in good shape and we have the confidence to play.," he told Kumasi based FOX FM.

"I won two CAF Confederations Cup trophies and a Champions League trophy at TP Mezembe and I want to do same now at Kotoko," he added.

The MTN FA Cup champions will depart from the shores of the country today with 18 man squad.
