Former Asante Kotoko head coach, JE Sarpong believes the lack of unity among the Local Organizing Committee in the just ended 2018 African Women's Championship contributed to Black Queens failure.

The host and win dream was left in shambles after Ghana's senior women's national failed to progress to the next round of the competition.

After three matches played in Group, Ghana won one, lost one and drew leaving them at the 3rd position with four points.

However, the vociferous gaffer believes the LOC failed to execute their work properly.

“How many of them identified themselves with the public, we never saw them, yet there were experienced men among them who could have helped," he told Angel TV.

"However, they left everything on Freda Prempeh, making her to do everything, including becoming the PRO of the LOC which didn’t help, and it affected the performance of the entire team”, he said.

The tournament ended on Saturday, December 1 with Nigeria emerging as the champions defeating South Africa 4:3 on penalties.
