The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak has made it's intentions clear that it will take Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the law courts for what they described as defamation of the credibility of the club.

According to the Public Relations officer of the club, Randy Abbey, for Kotoko to have released a tape claiming that it is a credible evidence to the effect that the club arranged to play a match of convenience with Kpando Heart of Lions in the GT sponsored match against Kpando Heart of Lions, at Kpando Park, on Sunday on 23th October, is simplly amazing.

He said it beats his imaginations why the Management of Kotoko will hold a press conference on mere speculations on pertinent issues such as match fixing which has huge implications not only in Ghana, but within the international soccer circles.

Mr Abbey who was speaking in an exclusive interview with AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS on KAPITAL RADIO in Kumasi yesterday added "I hope Kotoko are aware of the serious legal implications of mentioning the name of Hearts in their allegations".

"Much as i think the press conference is a shere waste of everybody's time, I do think that Hearts is prepared to drag Kotoko to the court of law to substantiate the claims levelled against hearts" he added.

The PRO wondered why people are raising lots of issues out of the call by Hearts for a total prob into the allegations of match fixing in the game between Kotoko and Real Tamale United.

"It is the duty of Hearts as a major stakeholder in Ghana football to seek investigations into the allegations so as to set the records straight,in fact it is in the very interest of Kotoko that the allegations are looked into for sanity to prevail in Ghana football'. h said
