21 invited for Satellites camping

Accra, Nov 14, GNA -The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited 21 players for the national U-20 team, Black Satellites to commence training camp ahead of their participation in the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Anniversary tourney scheduled for Abuja later this month. The 21 players drawn from 12 Premier Division clubs are requested to report to begin camping at the Sanaa Lodge, Tesano in Accra on Tuesday November 15 for the competition slated from November 21-28. Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals and Fetteh Feyenoord lead the pack with four players each, Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal follow with two and Asante Kotoko, Sekondi Hasaacas, Berekum Arsenals, Real Sportive, Accra Great Olympics, Real Tamale United, Tano Bofoakwa, Ashantigold and Kpando Heart of Lions complete the number with a player each.

A release signed by Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA named the players as Liberty's Kotey Blankson, Bawa Mumuni, Kwame Obeng-Darko and Michael Helegbe.

Emmanuel Anarfi, Harrison Aful, Sheriff Dan-Ladi and Iddi Yakini are from the camp of Feyenoord, Anthony Annan and Prince Tagoe (Hearts), Jerry Akaminko (Lions), Kennedy Korley (Bofoakwa), Nana Bobie and Prince Antwi (Faisal), Michael Addo (Hasaacas) and Daniel Asamoah (Ashgold). Towfiq Alolo (RTU), Francis Mantey (Olympics), Douglas Nkrumah (Kotoko), Mark Amofa (Sportive) and Alex Asamoah (Arsenal).
