The South Africa Women’s National team, the Bayana Bayana are expected to arrive in Ghana later tonight after departing South Africa earlier in the day.
Their arrival ahead of time as the countdown to the Total Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) 2018 continues is due to the fact that they will be engaged in an international friendly match with the Black Queens of Ghana on Sunday, November 11.
Modernghana Sports can confirm that the South African team is currently en route to Ghana and will land very soon. They have emphasized they are poised to win this edition of the competition.
The Bayana Bayana has been pitted in Group B of the competition together with record winners, the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Zambia.
Their international friendly match with the host nation will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The tournament, however, will start from November 17 through to December 1.
