Women Football VISMA Foundation Makes Donation To Black Queens

VISMA foundation has today shown love to the Women’s National team of Ghana, the Black Queens by donation several items to the team at Prampram where they are camping ahead of the African Women’s Cup of Nations to be staged here in the Country.

VISMA was founded by Mavis Amannor of Multimedia and the aim of the foundation is to promote girl-child education through sports.

The seasoned Sports Journalist donated the items to the Queens in the company of her team of fire ladies. According to them, the kind gesture is to motivate the Black Queens who will soon be representing Ghana at the AWCON.

The items presented to the team include boxes of water from Paradise Pac, toilet rolls, sanitary pads from Chrisbil Company Limited as well as boxes of chocolate, and hair products from Maxim Ghana Limited among.

Mavis Amannor took the opportunity to say some words of encouragement to the Queens and pushed them to make Ghana proud in the upcoming championships.

“I want you to know that we are fully behind you, just work hard. People see women football in different taste in this country but I urge you to make us proud so that other cooperate entities will also support you in the near future”, she said.

Public Relations Officer of the foundation, Nana Ama-Adez Essel added, “We believe in empowering the youth through Education and Sports.

"We know the Black Queens have a tournament ahead and we deem it fit to support you with these items just to tell you that Ghanaians and VISMA Foundation are fully behind you,” she said.

The Black Queens are currently in camp preparing for the AWCON 2018. The draw is expected to come off on October 21 at the Kempinski Hotel.

The tournament with Ghana as host will feature record holders Nigeria as well as Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, South Africa, Mali, Algeria and Zambia.
