The Black Stars of Ghana earlier today were presented with fifty (50) cartons of Paradise Pac treated drinking water from Captain Asamoah Gyan’s mineral water company.
The cartons of bottled water were received by Coach of the Black Stars, Kwasi Appiah on behalf of the whole Black Stars family.
The team are in town for the international break and were expected to play Sierra Leone in a 2019 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Unfortunately, the match had to be cancelled following growing impasse between the Sierra Leonean government and world football governing body FIFA.
The Black Stars have now turned attention to play a friendly match with Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, 12 October 2018.
No bonuses, however, will be paid to the players as they have agreed to play the match for the fans and to show patriotism and love for their country.
Kickoff time for the friendly match is 4pm.
