Marseille and three others in Under-13 Soccer Tournament

Accra, Oct.26, GNA - Accra based juvenile football side, S.S. Marseille Model Football Academy and three other juvenile teams would engage in a one day Unde-13 Soccer Tournament at the Kaneshie Sports Complex in Accra on Thursday, November 3.

The Tournament dubbed "Incolac Under-13 Soccer Academies and Fun Fair" will witness the participation of AC Sondisco of Tema, Krobo Youth Academy and Acacia Academy from Liberia in an all-play-all format. According to the organisers, the tournament would be attended by 50 schools invited from the Greater Accra Region, and will see the winner going home with a prize money of one million cedis, with the second, third and fourth placed teams, pocketing 500,000 and 300,000 and 200,000 cedis respectively.

Aside the prize money, the outstanding teams will also receive footballs, Incolac Powered Milk, Bifa Chocolate Biscuits. Individuals who distinguish themselves as Best Player, Top Scorer, Best Defender, Best Goalkeeper and the Best Behaved Team will be presented with special prizes.

The tournament is aimed at developing juvenile football and unearthing talents for the nation.
