The Chief Executive Officer of Databank Group, Kojo Addai Mensah has called on Ghanaians to lower their expectation on the work of the Normalization Committee.

Last week Thursday at the premises of the Ghana Football Association, FIFA named a four-member committee to replace the Executive Committee to see the day to day running of football in the country.

The committee includes CAN 2008 Local Organizing Committee chairman, Dr Kofi Amoah, former Airtel CEO Lucy Quist, ex-Kotoko Board Member Kofi Dua-Adonteng, and Naa Odofoley Nortey, a board member of the Attorney General department complete the list of members of the committee.

And according to the staunch Asante Kotoko and Liverpool supporter, the Normalization Committee must tackle the issues of transparency, truthfulness and discipline.

“The expectations of the committee is high, instead we should be worried about the individuals that will take over after the mandate of the committee expires," he told Asempa FM.

"The elected ones will have the task of turning the fortunes of Ghana Football and not the Normalization Committee”.

Quizzed if the Normalization Committee set a minimum wage for local players, he said, “The Normalization Committee cannot raise the minimum wages of players if it is above the set national minimum wage but instead, they must expand congress composition to include more members from the various groups within the association”, he explained.
