My Players Did Not Heed To My Instructions - Coach Kwesi Appiah

Kwesi Appiah has revealed that his players did not play according to his instructions in Ghana’s defeat to Kenya last Saturday at the Moi International Stadium.

The Harambee Stars secured three points after defender Nicholas Opoku scored an own goal in the first half of the game in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Football fandoms in the country have lambasted the Black Stars team for the poor outing in the game.

However, the Black Stars head coach is however unhappy with the performance of some of some of his players.

“What I was expecting from some of them was not what they gave out on the pitch but saying that you lose and learn a lot from it,” he told the press after the game.
