Gabon will face off with Burundi in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group C match on Saturday.

The game is set to take place at the Stade d'Angondjé in Libreville, Gabon.

The Panthers lost 2-1 to Mali away in their first game in their Group C campaign in June 2017.

As a result, Gabon are placed third on group standings without a single point.

They lost 1-0 to United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their last game which was the 2018 Kings Cup match at home six months ago.

Gabon head coach Jose Antonio Camacho will be keen to lead the Panthers to victory at home.

Meanwhile, Burundi thrashed South Sudan 3-0 in their maiden game in Group C at home in June 2017.

The win took the Swallows to the top of group standings with three points from one match.

They lost 2-1 to Uganda in their last match which was the 2017 CECAFA Cup game nine months ago.

Burundi head coach Olivier Niyungeko will be eager to guide his side to victory over Gabon away.

Seychelles referee Bernard Camilla will officiate the game between Gabon and Burundi.
