Ghanaian youngster Issah Abass made his debut for Mainz O5 in their friendly win over TuS Koblenz on Thursday after joining the club in the summer.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Bundesliga side on a five year deal on transfer deadline day came on in the 60th minute to help Mainz defeat TuS Koblenz 2-0.
