Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah says Empoli could have won their game against Chievo Verona on Sunday if they had utilized the chances created.

Empoli shared the spoils with Chievo Verona on the road after playing out a goalless draw game in Verona.

On-loan Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah played 88 minutes of the game before he was replaced by Ismael Bannacer.

Having bossed the middle of the park for Empoli since joining from Turin, the Ghanaian indicated they wasted many chances to have defeated Chievo.

"Today we created so many chances both in the first half and in the second,:" he told EmpoliChannel.it 'We played well, as a team. Too bad, now let's start thinking about the next game,' he added.
