Ghanaian international Kasim Nuhu and his new club TSG Hoffenheim were handed open day defeat by defending champions of the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich 3-1.

Kasim despite being on the losing side flourished and look solid at the back. He looks to have settled in the team and communicated very well the Hoffenheim backline to halt several attackers of the German Champions.

Bayern Munich Marksman Thomas Muller opened the scoring for the victors on the 23rd minute before Adam Szallai scored on the 57th minute for Hoffenheim to level things up.

The match looked to be heading to a draw before free-scoring Robert Lewandowski stepped up and converted a penalty on the 82nd minute to give Bayern the lead.

Veteran attacker Arjen Robben scored the insurance goal for the host on the 90th minute to ensure they run away with all three points.

The former Young Boys defender lasted the full 90 minutes of the game and despite being on the losing side, head coach for TSG Hoffenheim, Julian Nagelsmann can be proud to have handed the Ghanaian international his debut.

There is more room for improvement for the player after a show of class and composure at the back.
