Inter Milan coach, Luciano Spalletti, could be forced to reshuffle his formation with Ghanaian star, Kwadwo Asamoah, expected to be withdrawn to the left-back position.

Asamoah was the star of his side’s 0-1 defeat to Sassuolo on Sunday when he was used on the flanks by the manager.

But report in an Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, indicates that Spalleti is considering tinkering with the 4-2-3-1 formation which contributed to their defeat and instead opts for a 3-4-2-1 during their next game against Torino.

The change in the formation is expected to affect the team selection that played on Sunday with Danilo D’Ambrosio expected to be drafted into the at right-back position in place of Sime Vrsaljko.

Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah could replace Dalbert for the left back position with the Brazilian dropping out of the team and Milan Skriniar scheduled to swap with Stefan de Vrij and partner with Miranda at the heart of the defence.

With Asamoah moving back to left back, the void created could be filled by Ivan Perisic who is Spalleti’s favourite for the left midfield role.

The report also suggests that the Roberto Gagliardini could replace Matias Vecino in the middle and play alongside Marcelo Brozovic.

It is unclear whether Lautaro will be trusted in the attacking midfield role again but he could be replaced by Keita Balde.
