Ghanaian forward Ahmed Said was sent off for Hadjuk Split as they were shocked 2-0 by league newcomers Gorica in the Croatian top flight league.
Hadjuk Split went into the game on the back of a disappointing exit from the Europa League after losing 2-1 to Romanian side Steaua Bucuresti last Thursday.
However, their hopes of recovering from Thursday's heartache suffered a setback as goals from Farouk Miya and Lukasz Zwolinski handed the visitors a 2-0 win.
Ahmed Said got himself entangled in an unsporting behaviour which prompted referee Marin Vidulin to issue a direct red card to him in the 92nd minute of the match.
