Wilfred Osei Palmer Insists Decision To Form Normalization Committee Is Flawed

Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association Wilfred Osei has stated that the decision by FIFA and government to form a normalization committee is defective.

According to the boss of Division One side Tema Youth, the Executive Committee has not been treated fairly with their side of the brouhaha unheard.

FIFA and government held a meeting on Thursday to find ways of ensuring Ghana Football gets back after two months after the showing of Anas' Expose'.

Government had initially taken steps to dissolve the Ghana Football Association but FIFA handed an ultimatum of August 27 to have the case withdrawn from court or the country suffers its wrath.

Following the threat from FIFA, the two parties met and the resolution from the engagement was to form a normalization committee with government also withdrawing the case from court.

Wilfred Osei admits the meeting and the outcome is full of loopholes.

'There are loopholes in the decision of FIFA,' he told Asempa FM.

'In all the discourse, only one side has been heard. A decision has been arrived at by listening to only one side.

'The Executive Committee has not been given the opportunity to state their side of the story and yet still this decision has been taken.'
