Dr Kyei To Hold Meeting With Kotoko New Management Today

The Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei will be holding first meeting with the newly formed management of the club on Thursday.

The business mogul named a new 11 member management team on Tuesday evening after dissolving the old team on the same day.

Sources say the meeting will be chaired by the Dr Kwame Kyei for official introduction of the new management members to the players and technical team.

After the meeting, the new management team will visit the club’s Adako Jachie training grounds to inspect the facilities as well as interact with some key players of the club as Dr Kyei rolls out his vision for Africa’s club of the century.

On Monday, August 13, 2018, an official statement from the club announced the following people as new management of Kotoko; George Amoako as General Manager, Edmund Ackah and Nana Kwame Dankwah as Accra Reps, Yaw Amo Sarpong as Policy Analyst, Samuel Sarfo Duku as Director of Communications, Isaac Donkor as Operations Manager, Dr. Caleb Adams as Psychologist and Dr. Jerry Newton as Medical Officer.

Report went viral that Dr Kyei was unhappy with the previous management team hence the formation of the new team.

Some members of the new management quickly began unofficial duties by visiting injured defender Daniel Darkwah in hospital following a successful shoulder surgery.

The Porcupine Warriors have not fared poorly in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League but have also not been convincing either.

The Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei is taking advantage of the halt in the Ghana Premier League to restructure the administration of the club.
