A member of the 2014 presidential Commission of Enquiry, Lawyer Moses Foh Amoaning has taken a swipe at FIFA insisting they intimidating African countries.

FIFA on Monday wrote to the government of Ghana to withdraw the court action seeking to dissolve the Ghana Football Association by Monday, 27 August 2018 or face its wrath.

The letter signed and released by the General Secretary of FIFA, Fatma Samoura stated that Ghana will be banned from all football activities if the Attorney General does not withdraw the court petition against the country's football governing body.

It further stated that If the authorities fail to comply with this latest directive, Ghana would be handed a worldwide ban, meaning no club or national team can compete in international competitions.

But the former Ghana Boxing Association president says FIFA is being unfair with the government.

''Ghanaians should not worry about FIFA's order because the government has not done anything wrong,'' he told Peace FM's Nana Yaw Kesse.

''What the Ghana government has done is a good step in the right direction which doesn't flout the FIFA rules.

''I think FIFA is intimidating Africans and it is high time Africans woke up from their slumber.

''If our attempt to fight corruption will warrant punishment, then why should FIFA say they have zero-tolerant for corruption?.

''I think FIFA should have banned America and Switzerland if they think Ghana government is wrong to seek justice for our football.

''FIFA should understand that they cannot be superior to Ghana's constitution and for that matter, whatever they do should commensurate with our highest law of the land.

''I dare them to go ahead and ban Ghana and they will see what will happen to them.

''Ghanaians will contest them at Court of Arbitration for sports [CAS] and if it doesn't auger well with us, we will proceed to the International Court of Criminal Justice.''

However, the government of Ghana is yet to respond to FIFA's demands.
