Ghanaian midfielder Ernest Paa Ohene played a part of Al Shabab's SC 1-0 first leg defeat against Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal on Sunday at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
The Ghanaian who made his debut in the Arab Cup Championship played full time as his side bow down to the Saudi Giants.
"It was a good game, we played hard but was not lucky, we hope to go all out in the second leg. We still have hope and we will qualify convincely". Ernest added.
A 23 minute goal from Al-Hilal and Saudi Arabia right back, Mohammed Alburayk earned the home side three points lead ahead of the second leg encounter in Barka, Oman on Saturday, September 29 at the Seeb Sport Stadium.
Al Shabab are hoping to overturn the result in the coming month to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Ernest Paa Ohene joined Oman giants Al Shabab SC in August 2016 after a debut season with Oman club Salalah SC.
