Black Satellites Captain Issahaku Konda is confident ahead of the Satellites second leg tie against Benin u20 on Sunday.

The Satellites will travel to Benin for the second leg of the final qualifying match of the 2019 U-20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In an Interview on Oman FM, Issahaku Konda emphasized that they are determined to see off their Benin counterparts and secure qualification for the Youth AFCON next year.

“My boys and I are determined to qualify for the African Youth Championship, preparation is going well in camp, and we are learning a lot of tactics ahead of the game. I can say we are having a good preparation,” he said.

The Black Satellites came from a goal down to win three one in the first leg of the encounter when the Benin U-20 came to Ghana. Forward Richard Danso scored a brace whiles Issahaku Konda got a goal.

The Wa All Stars defender also confirmed that all the players in camp are for fit and in good shape ahead of the all-important match against the béninois.

He also disclosed that there are no major injuries in camp that anybody should be worried about even though some players are carrying minor knocks.
