Gov't Not Ready To Give Audience To Any ExCO Member - Baba Gedo
11.08.2018 LISTEN

Tough-talking Ghanaian football administrator, Baba Gedo says the government are not prepared to give audience to any Executive Committee Member of the Ghana Football Association insisting the ExCO must be collapsed.

Club owners in the country within the week resolved to pass a vote of no confidence in the 17 Executive Committee Members [ExCO] following the fallout from the Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé which has abruptly ended football activities in the country.

According to the Amidaus Professionals bankroller, Ghana football was heading for the ditch and the Executive Committee Members did not take any action until the airing of the exposé.

Although not all members of the ExCO were filmed in the 'Number 12' documentary but Gedo believes it is time club owners speak out.

“I know not all the Executive Committee Members were found culpable but it is time we club owners speak up and talk for ourselves. We spend our hard earned money on football and need no representatives”, Gedo told Asempa FM.

"The government is dragging the process to resolve the crisis because they do not want to give the Executive Committee audience hence the need for club owners to intervene," he added.
