Changes in AshGold technical bench

The management of AshGold has announced changes in the technical team of the club that has elevated the academy coach Augustine Evans Adotey as the acting head coach taking over from coach Hans Van Der Pluym who is now attending to medical treatment after AshGold had succumbed 1-2 to King Faisal last Sunday.

Meanwhile coach Mohammed Yusif who was deputizing coach Hans has been sent to the academy whilst Mr. Gilbert Kwesi Yankson and Mr. Gee Aidoo take over as assistant head coaches. Kamara Dini maintains his positions as the assistant Welfare Officer.

The decision was taken when the management team comprising Capt. Andy Sam, Mr. Kwasi Anane, Mr. Kwesi Crentsil, Mr. Clement Donkor, Mr. John Williams and Mr. Tony Woode held a meeting last Monday at the club's secretariat to deliberate on the unimpressive performance of the club.

When coach Adotey was interviewed he accepted the challenges ahead and promised to work very hard to put to bear what he had learnt from his superiors. He urged the fans to rally behind him to achieve the stated objectives of the club.

Coach Adotey was a former player of AshGold and captained the team for so many years. He has pursued several coaching courses worldwide and has been instrumental in the bringing up academy players in likes of Shaibu Yakubu, Nasir Lamine, Ofosu Amoah, Tony Baffoe, Frank Andoh and several others.
